The January, 2002 issue of LEXPERT Magazine contains Richard Potter's interview of David Maister, the author of Practice What You Preach. Based in Boston, David is a leading authority on the management of professional services firms. Unlike several of David's earlier publications, this one is not explicitly directed to lawyers. Despite that, however, the interview reveals that the central message of Practice What You Preach -- self-evident in its title -- should have great resonance for lawyers.
