In a recent issue of LEXPERT Magazine appeared the results of an interview by Richard Potter of the noted legal and IT author, adviser and journalist, Richard Susskind. Based in London, Richard Susskind trained as a lawyer and has a doctorate in law and computers from Oxford University. Recently the recipient of an OBE, Richard is a frequent contributor to the The Times and the Financial Times. During the interview, the two Richards discussed some of the themes found in Susskind's book, Transforming the Law, many of which are at the heart of the interface between the practice of law and the marketing of legal services as a business.
