Not only is the electronic medium faster and cheaper, its coverage is greater, as recipients pass on information quickly and easily to colleagues and other contacts. But the most creative feature of the new medium is the quick feedback you receive about exactly which issues are of greatest interest. This gives legal service providers new power to tailor the flow of information to the specific needs of individual clients and contacts -- what I refer to as "target marketing".
